About the position

The Direct Care Staff position at Road To Wisdom LLC involves providing continuous supervision and support to assigned children in a residential setting. The role requires maintaining a professional demeanor, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and complying with all relevant policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide 24 hour continuous awake supervision to assigned children
• Complete daily documentation (electronic or written) at the end of each shift
• Role model professional demeanor at all times
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of resident and program operations
• Comply with RTW Policy and Procedure Manual and protocols
• Personally report serious incidents and suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate authorities
• Attend and participate in trainings, workshops, and in-service meetings
• Maintain professional and ethical standards as required by the company
• Comply with all licensing standards and funding source guidelines
• Transport and supervise residents for medical appointments and emergency hospitalizations
• Respond to resident crises which may require staying after hours and emergency response
• Complete required annual training hours as required by minimum standards and contractors

Requirements

• Ability to provide continuous supervision and support to children
• Strong documentation skills for daily reporting
• Professional demeanor and ethical standards
• Knowledge of child care licensing standards and protocols
• Ability to respond to crises and emergencies effectively

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in child care or residential support settings
• First aid and CPR certification
