Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing meals, including those with dietary restrictions.
- Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, laundry, and changing bed linens.
- Providing companionship and stimulation for clients through activities like reading and walks.
- Accompanying clients to appointments as needed.
- Assisting with grocery shopping and other errands when approved.
- Performing personal care tasks for clients as needed.
- Assisting clients with ambulation using mechanical aids like walkers.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must complete the agency's employment process.
- Exhibit maturity and responsible behavior.
- Understand consumer confidentiality.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
- Must pass a drug screen.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in care plans is preferred but not required.
