About the position

As a Direct Care Worker/Caregiver at Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, you will play a crucial role in enabling clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include providing essential personal care assistance, which encompasses bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. You will also support clients with light housekeeping tasks, laundry services, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and running errands. Engaging clients through conversation, games, and other forms of entertainment is also a vital part of your role, ensuring they feel connected and valued. Responsibilities

  • Enable clients to stay in their homes by providing support and personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Support clients by providing light housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals/snacks, and running errands.
  • Keep clients engaged through conversation, games, and other forms of entertainment.

Requirements

  • Experience using and trained on a Hoyer lift.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance (preferred).
  • Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends.
  • Great attendance is required as clients depend on us for their quality of life.
  • Exceptional patient service skills along with a caring and compassionate personality.
