Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or those in home care.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Assist with case management and coordination of care.
- Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or in home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations effectively.
- Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them.
- Experience in case management and coordinating care for individuals.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
- Attention to detail in documenting resident information accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
