Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or those in home care.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
  • Assist with case management and coordination of care.
  • Promote resident rights and advocate for their needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or in home care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them.
  • Experience in case management and coordinating care for individuals.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
  • Attention to detail in documenting resident information accurately.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
