The Lead Salesforce .NET Developer position in Hartford, CT, is a senior-level role requiring a highly skilled individual to participate in various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. The candidate will be responsible for requirements verification, design and development, testing, maintenance, and support activities as directed by agency management. This role specifically focuses on supporting existing .NET applications and participating in the SDLC process for the new SACWIS system. The developer will collaborate with the System Integrator to ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance of the solution for a given module. Key responsibilities include maintaining interfaces, .NET applications, and supporting Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration initiatives. The candidate will also engage in meetings with the System Integrator to verify deliverables such as requirements, design, testing, and environment configuration. As a Lead Developer, the candidate must be organized, proactive, and self-directed, driving the work from requirements to implementation. Strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The role involves designing and developing .NET/.NET Core technology and architecture for large-scale distributed systems, midrange to client-server, and n-tier e-commerce applications. The candidate must possess expert knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles, as well as a working knowledge of Salesforce development. Responsibilities also include providing analysis and requirements for application integration, working on all phases of the SDLC, creating and maintaining technical documentation, assisting in data migration and integration from legacy systems, and collaborating with the Application Development Manager on project goals and code reviews. Additionally, the candidate will provide guidance and training to team members.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various SDLC processes including requirements verification, design and development, testing, maintenance, and support activities.
• Support existing .NET applications and participate in the SDLC process of the new SACWIS system.
• Maintain interfaces and .NET applications, supporting SOA integration initiatives.
• Engage in meetings with the System Integrator to verify deliverables such as requirements, design, testing, and environment configuration.
• Drive the work from requirements to implementation, ensuring organized and proactive project management.
• Design and develop .NET/.NET Core technology and architecture for large-scale distributed systems and e-commerce applications.
• Provide analysis and requirements for application integration.
• Work on all phases of the SDLC and create/maintain required technical documentation.
• Assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new applications and technologies.
• Collaborate with the Application Development Manager to establish goals and conduct code reviews.
• Supply input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in .NET OOP and SOA.
• At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as ExtJS or Angular.
• Experience in SQL and end-to-end web development.
• Strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
