The Direct Mail Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading the overall service effort and day-to-day management of assigned low to mid-profile accounts. This role involves overseeing and assuring quality control on all phases of production, monitoring job progress to ensure that clients' expectations and goals are met. The position requires a hybrid work model, with a minimum requirement of two days per week in the office. The coordinator will work closely with senior team members to determine client recommendations and solutions, ensuring that all objectives and strategies are implemented effectively. In addition to managing client accounts, the coordinator will be responsible for creating and coordinating production timelines with internal operations and vendors, attending press approvals, and assisting with client and preproduction meetings. The role also includes creating quotes and jobs in application software, reviewing hourly samples and printing proofs for accuracy, and developing mailing instructions for moderate programs. The coordinator will need to exercise good judgment in all assigned client communications and will be expected to write complex detailed data processing instructions while reviewing data processing work for accuracy. The position reports to an Account Director or Senior Account Director and requires strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. The coordinator must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional dynamic team environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. The role may involve some travel as required, and the coordinator will need to monitor and review work completed by others to ensure quality and accuracy.
