About the position

The Direct Marketing Account Coordinator at Boyd Gaming Corporation plays a crucial role in the execution of direct marketing programs that are set by the corporate Marketing Shared Services departments, as well as Regional and Property Marketing teams. This position is responsible for implementing multi-property and property-specific direct marketing campaigns, which include gaming, dining, hotel promotions, and special events. The coordinator will assist the Direct Marketing Manager in various tasks, including campaign and offer builds, consolidating creative and data outputs, and coordinating the production of direct marketing campaigns. A strong relationship with corporate and property teams, as well as print and mail house vendors, is essential for success in this role. The Direct Marketing Account Coordinator will be tasked with maintaining compliance with policies and procedures while performing all related duties assigned by the Direct Marketing Manager. This includes coordinating direct marketing campaigns, keeping all parties informed of project timelines, and executing mail and email programs from creation to completion in a timely and efficient manner. The coordinator will ensure that guest offers are viewable and redeemable on property, provide necessary data, copy, and art files to selected vendors, and review all creative and live data proofs for accuracy. Administrative functions such as maintaining drop schedules and reconciling invoices and postage will also be part of the responsibilities. To excel in this position, the candidate must demonstrate expertise in database and direct mail program design, production, and fulfillment. A solid understanding of direct mail and familiarity with variable data printing integration is required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Proactive initiative, effective planning, prioritization, and organization skills are essential, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and extensive proofreading experience are also critical for this role. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Direct Marketing Manager in implementing direct marketing programs set by corporate Marketing Shared Services departments, Regional and Property Marketing.
  • Coordinate direct marketing campaigns with the DM Manager and appropriate teams and vendors.
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures while performing related duties as assigned by the DM Manager.
  • Execute mail and email programs from campaign creation to completion in a timely manner using Salesforce.
  • Provide necessary data, copy, and art files to selected vendors with DM Manager's approval.
  • Review all creative and live data proofs for accuracy.
  • Maintain drop schedules and reconcile invoices and postage.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate database/direct mail program design, production, and fulfillment expertise.
  • Knowledge and understanding of direct mail and familiarity with variable data printing integration.
  • Ability to execute multiple streams of work in a challenging, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, takes initiative, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively, handling multiple high-priority projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, with extensive proofreading experience.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Minimum of two years related work experience (database, casino or direct marketing).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in casino direct marketing and print production management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communication, computer science or related field preferred.
