Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide a sales team while advancing your career.
  • Implement proven sales strategies and ensure seamless execution in the field.
  • Train and mentor new team members within the first 90 days.
  • Build and manage a client portfolio by developing strong relationships with business owners.
  • Engage potential clients through cold calls and in-person meetings using Salesforce CRM.
  • Respond promptly to client emails and phone calls.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments with prospective and current clients.
  • Participate in scheduled calls or meetings with the sales team or manager.
  • Prospect new businesses, referrals, and existing clients for continued service.
  • Build and maintain a robust book of business through proactive relationship development.
  • Collaborate with the sales team manager to establish and achieve sales targets and quotas.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with local business owners within the territory.
  • Balance cold lead generation with warm leads and appointments with existing clients.
  • Submit daily sales metrics and activity reports to track progress and performance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, ideally in customer-facing or outside sales roles.
  • Proven ability to conduct effective training sessions, both in-person and online.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping and empowering clients, with a strong commitment to their well-being.
  • Health & Life general lines license, or a willingness to obtain one within 90 days.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of professional (post-high school) work experience.
  • Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion will be considered.
  • Candidates with less than 10 years of professional work experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.
