About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging, clear copy for high converting advertising platforms, emails, landing pages, websites, blog posts, digital and print ads. Your duties will include creating interesting written content and collaborating with team members at all levels to ensure projects are consistent with direct marketing best practices, brand guidelines, compliance, and overall project goals. This individual is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and grammar sleuth. Your objectives will include deeply understanding our target audience and marketplace to ensure effective copy, understanding the pain points and main reasons why a business owner would work with Cardone Ventures, and creating high converting promotional copy across our funnel through emails, ads, and landing pages. You will also be responsible for editing the work of other departments effectively to achieve the best performing copy, proofreading marketing assets, conducting split test advertising and other marketing campaigns for optimization, and writing blogs and other long-form copy on websites. Additionally, you will develop topics for live shows, write scripts for hosts, create white papers for client testimonials, track analytics related to copy-driven resources, and collaborate with the design team to create digital and print media advertising. This position requires strategic thinking to organize and design campaigns that deliver desired results for various target markets across different platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging and clear copy for advertising platforms, emails, landing pages, websites, blog posts, and digital and print ads.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects align with direct marketing best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Understand the target audience and marketplace to create effective copy.
  • Create high converting promotional copy across various channels including emails, ads, and landing pages.
  • Edit and proofread the work of other departments to achieve optimal copy performance.
  • Conduct split test advertising and marketing campaigns for optimization, primarily through email marketing.
  • Write blogs and long-form copy for websites, including bios and white papers for client testimonials.
  • Track analytics such as conversion and open rates related to copy-driven resources.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create digital and print media advertising.
  • Develop topics for live shows and write scripts for hosts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience creating compelling copy for digital marketing campaigns that convert.
  • Expertise in writing engaging social media posts and captions.
  • Effective copywriting skills for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and all marketing assets.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot for writing, scheduling, sending, and tracking emails.
  • Deep understanding of buying psychology and what motivates consumer action.
  • Exceptional target market research skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience in copywriting (preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in direct response marketing (preferred).
