About the position

Kendago, a global leader in premium digital advertising, is on the lookout for a talented Direct Response (DR) Copywriter to join our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) team. This role is pivotal in enhancing promotional materials for some of the most successful direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in the market. As a DR Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling copy that drives conversions and engages audiences effectively. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and the potential for transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CRO department to optimize sales funnels and improve customer Lifetime Value (LTV). Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on target audiences, products, pricing strategies, and the overall buyer journey. You will be expected to generate creative concepts and hooks that resonate with the audience, ensuring that all written materials are proofread for accuracy and quality. Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Google Docs, and Slack is essential for seamless collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of direct response marketing principles and demonstrate a proven track record in writing promotional D2C funnel sales copy, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs). Responsibilities

  • Work remotely with the potential for transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Conversion Rate Optimization team to enhance the funnels of leading DTC brands.
  • Conduct thorough research on target audience, product/brand, price points, offer, and funnel/buyer journey.
  • Efficiently organize and manage tasks, ensuring timely completion based on project deadlines.
  • Generate creative concepts and compelling hooks to captivate the target audience.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality by thoroughly proofreading all written materials.
  • Comfortably navigate Monday.com project management platform, Google Docs & Sheets, and Slack for seamless collaboration.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the cultural nuances and preferences of the US market.
  • Possess the ability to think critically and creatively to craft compelling copy.
  • Showcase a successful history of writing promotional D2C funnel sales copy, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs).
  • Exhibit expertise in optimizing sales funnels and creating strategies to enhance customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Display a solid comprehension of direct response marketing principles, goals, and metrics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English writing and grammar to maintain high-quality communication.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, shift gears, and meet deadlines with precision.
