As a Direct Sales Representative for Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling innovative medical devices to cardiac physicians, medical laboratories, distributors, and hospitals in the San Antonio, Texas area. Your primary responsibility will be to educate clients and potential clients about Abbott's CRM products, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. This position requires a proactive approach to building and executing business plans in collaboration with management to identify, target, and develop new accounts. You will also be responsible for providing medical professionals with comprehensive information and training on the use of Abbott's products, as well as conducting in-services and technical troubleshooting as needed. In addition to direct sales activities, you will manage the physical inventory within your assigned territory and ensure that all pertinent patient information is accurately completed and forwarded to patient tracing when required. You will collect and analyze information about new and existing products, monitor competitor sales, prices, and products, and prepare reports on sales statistics. Your role may also involve attending trade shows and conferences to showcase new products and technologies, as well as to network with other sales representatives and clients. You will be expected to remain current on developments in your field of expertise and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring a smooth sales process and customer satisfaction.
