About the position

The Sales Representative/Territory Manager for Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business is responsible for selling a variety of medical devices to physicians and hospitals within an assigned territory. This role involves conducting marketing surveys, analyzing sales statistics, and providing training and support to medical professionals on the use of Abbott's products. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a variety of Abbott's medical devices to physicians and hospitals in an assigned territory.
  • Conduct marketing surveys and effectiveness reviews of sales activities.
  • Service accounts and present new products to clients.
  • Provide medical professionals with information and training on the use of company products.
  • Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports.
  • Perform administrative sales duties, including filing expense reports and scheduling appointments.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to showcase new products and meet clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Five plus years of progressively responsible sales experience, including experience with cardiovascular medical devices.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical device industry policies and operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cardiac electrophysiology mapping/sales.
