About the position

Uchie is seeking a motivated Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Sales Representative to help expand our botanical seltzer presence. This role is crucial for building relationships with retailers and ensuring that Uchie products are delivered and displayed effectively in stores. The DSD Sales Rep will manage direct deliveries, drive sales through promotional events, and collaborate with distributors to optimize inventory and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with store managers, buyers, and staff at local retailers and specialty shops.
  • Manage direct deliveries to retail locations, ensuring timely restocking and rotation of products.
  • Ensure Uchie products are properly stocked and displayed prominently in-store.
  • Identify and secure new retail accounts to expand the brand's presence across the territory.
  • Organize in-store sampling events to introduce customers to Uchie's botanical seltzer and drive brand awareness.
  • Work with local distributors to align inventory levels and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and coverage of assigned retail partners.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in DSD, beverage, or CPG sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with gas stations, convenience stores, liquor stores, and other retail outlets in the region is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with retailers and distributors.
  • Organized and self-motivated to manage a territory independently and meet sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases (up to 40 lbs).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales and customer service (1 year preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Austin market.
