About the position

The Direct Support Lead at NeuroRestorative is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to staff while delivering direct services to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries. This role involves ensuring that the objectives of the individuals served and company goals are met through effective training, community participation, and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while delivering direct services to individuals served.
• Attend training for individuals served to ensure their objectives and company goals are achieved.
• Participate in community outings and provide house orientation to new employees.
• Serve as a role model to staff, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with house staffing needs and staff recruitment.
• Review individuals served progress and coordinate the implementation of shift objectives.
• Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management according to the Individual Plan (IP) and/or treatment team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in providing direct services in the human services field.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
