DSPs work as part of a team to implement personalized goals that enhance the individuals' quality of life, promoting independence and personal growth in a safe and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in implementing their personalized goals and plans.
- Promote a sense of self-worth, acceptance, and achievement among individuals.
- Maintain a calm, kind, and caring environment for individuals in their homes and communities.
- Support individuals in reaching their maximum level of independence.
- Read and understand each individual's plan to learn their specific goals.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in communication skills.
