Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Follow all support plans to ensure that care is person centered, which includes helping individuals reach their goals and overcome behavioral challenges
• Support levels could include but are not limited to: verbal assistance, partial and/or full physical assistance, and performing personal care tasks as needed, which may include dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Maintain cleanliness of the home and meal preparation
• Handle and de-escalate inappropriate behavior from the individuals such as verbal and/or physical aggression
• Provide transportation and assist the individual(s) in the community such as appointments, shopping and personal outings

Requirements

• Be 18+ years or older
• Must have a Valid Drivers License
• 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred)
