About the position
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential programs! As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with the person served to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, /or and assistance with personal cares. No Experience? If you meet the basic job requirements, we will provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with disabilities in residential programs.
- Support persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence.
- Provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills.
- Assist with transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and personal cares.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License and consistent access to a vehicle is required.
- Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
