Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, and changing diapers.
• Communicate and engage with the individual through play and conversation.
• Assist with positioning and transferring the individual in and out of a wheelchair as needed.
• Provide support in accordance with individual preferences and routines regarding physical assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn how to support someone with physical disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
• Clear a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of previous caregiving experience is a plus.
• Experience in the Special needs field, specifically in Special Education/Nursing/PT.
