The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and personal management. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in daily activities including health and personal management.

• Help improve the functioning of individuals while minimizing interfering behaviors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related experience or an Associate's Degree with 1 year of related experience.
• Valid NY Driver's License.
• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
• Strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare or similar roles.
