About the position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role at Royal Community Support involves working directly with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their private homes and community settings.
• Assist individuals in engaging with their community and participating in activities.
• Provide person-centered support and maintain a positive attitude while working with clients.
• Help set structure and routines for individuals to follow during community outings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are necessary.
• Must have a car for transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
• Authorized to legally work in the United States.
