Responsibilities
- Interact and support individuals with developmental disabilities in community, family, or individual homes.
- Assist with direct care and implementation of behavior plans.
- Enhance the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of consumers served.
- Assist and train individuals in personal care, communication, and social skill development.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on behavioral services.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Required to complete DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification within 1 year of hire date.
- Required to complete RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 1 year of hire date.
