About the position
Spectrum Community Services is seeking compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professionals to coordinate active treatment for individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities in Adult Foster Care or Community Living Services homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting community integration, and ensuring their health and personal care needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with cooking and cleaning tasks.
- Support community integration for clients.
- Provide health and personal care assistance to clients.
- Coordinate active treatment in Adult Foster Care or Community Living Services homes.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Michigan Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable and ongoing transportation.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting.
- Medical clearance including TB test, drug screen, and physical exam.
