About the position

Responsibilities

• Teach people simple life skills to reach goals
• Physically assist people to be more independent
• Assist with hygiene (bathing, grooming, etc.)
• Supervise/train people to clean, shop, eat/prepare food
• Accompany people on community trips and doctor appointments

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid NYS Driver License preferred
• Experience preferred but not required (DSP, Home health aide, CNA, personal care aide, customer service, caretaker experience helpful)
