The Direct Support Staff/Caregiver position involves providing care and support for residents in a 4-bed adult residential facility. The role is focused on assisting individuals with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents in the facility.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document residents' health and behavior.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, preferably in Tagalog.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a residential care setting.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
