In this position, the assistant will primarily serve as the main point of contact for Wine Club members, handling inquiries and managing the Wine Club database. This includes updating member information, processing applications and orders, and managing wine shipments. The assistant will also provide customer service for wine shipment inquiries and assist with inventory management. Additionally, the role involves supporting ecommerce efforts, including maintaining online wine shops, conducting quality assurance testing for email campaigns, and ensuring that product information is accurate and up-to-date. Event support is another key aspect of this role, where the assistant will collaborate with the DTC Manager and Hospitality Manager to coordinate events, providing assistance both on-site and off-site as needed. This may include pouring wine, setting up, and tearing down events, sometimes requiring after-hours or weekend work.
