About the position

ColourPop is seeking an experienced Director of Account Management to oversee the Ulta business, managing the end-to-end P&L. This role focuses on strategic planning, execution of marketing initiatives, and driving sustainable growth through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires a strong leader who can analyze sales data, forecast inventory needs, and optimize retail experiences to achieve growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Set overall account plan that guides priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, events and all other parts of the business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop a full calendar of programming to achieve brand and category growth objectives, while maintaining profitability goals.
  • Work closely with demand and supply planning to forecast inventory needs, including planning for launches and end of life transitions, to minimize markdowns/DIF.
  • Lead weekly sales analysis and report into senior leadership weekly - with in-depth findings and recommendations/action items.
  • Provide plans and forecasts for seasonal stock and sales plans.
  • Oversee the monthly feedback process for stock and sales plans, ensuring that changes in sales trends are considered in demand and supply plan.
  • Partner with demand planning on annual and rolling monthly S&OP process.
  • Work with Graphic Design team and VM partners to ensure a best-in-class retail experience, while optimizing capex for both changes to inline assortment as well as off-shelf opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ years in Account Management/Sell In, working directly with Ulta for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze retail sales on a daily/weekly/quarterly basis to draw insights and action items.
  • Proven track record of success meeting/exceeding sales goals in an account management role.
  • Demonstrated track record of partnering closely and successfully with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance counterparts.
  • Ability to work in a high volume business with strong P&L management, expertise managing complexity with large SKU counts within the beauty category.
  • Strong knowledge of trade spend analytics and planning/tracking systems.
