About the position

The Director of Advertising & Promotion at CSL Behring is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing regional regulatory strategic and operational tasks related to advertising and promotion requirements for licensed products. This hybrid position involves collaboration with various departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while fostering high-quality relationships with health authorities. The role also includes developing team members and contributing to the vision and goals of Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the respective Regional Team, overseeing all regional regulatory strategic and operational tasks for licensed products advertising and promotion requirements.
• Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with regional health authorities and other external partners.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with marketing, medical affairs, legal, and other departments to support assigned products/projects.
• Interpret and apply regulations and guidance, guiding teams in application and assessment.
• Provide guidance on changes within the external environment and their potential impact on CSL.
• Develop team members to grow within the organization and their respective roles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Pharmacy; post-graduate degree is advantageous.
• 10+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Biologics/Research & Development/Regulatory Affairs.
• At least 7 years of regulatory experience in a regulatory authority facing role, supported by additional pharmaceutical/industry experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of regulatory guidelines and legislative requirements of international and regional Regulatory Authorities.
• Experience leading negotiations and facilitating resolution of issues with regulatory agencies with positive outcomes.
• Experience working with external partner bodies, such as trade associations, is advantageous.
