About the position

The Director of Advertising Sales at Cineverse is responsible for driving advertising revenue through the management and expansion of relationships with advertisers, agencies, and brands. This role involves overseeing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to campaign management, and requires a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, particularly in the OTT/SVOD/AVOD space. The position is remote, reflecting Cineverse's commitment to a flexible work environment, and is focused on selling a diverse range of streaming inventory across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Drive advertising revenue by leveraging existing relationships with brands and agencies.
  • Build, maintain, and expand sales targets and opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal creation, and responding to RFPs.
  • Represent customer needs in internal discussions regarding product innovation and service.
  • Oversee campaign management, including reporting, optimization, and billing.
  • Craft strategic annual partnerships and collaborate with internal teams for campaign success.
  • Engage with senior-level decision makers and media buyers to foster relationships.
  • Provide revenue projections and regular updates to the SVP of Ad Monetization.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of video sales experience, preferably in CTV/OTT/streaming media.
  • Proven track record of managing a seven-figure book of business.
  • Strong understanding of the OTT/SVOD/AVOD dynamics and digital advertising trends.
  • Established relationships with brand and agency buyers.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in selling sponsorships and custom content integrations is a plus.
