About the position

The position at Cooper University Health Care involves managing clinical and business operations within assigned sites, focusing on delivering quality clinical services and improving patient experiences. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the management of clinical and business operations of assigned sites.
  • Deliver quality clinical services and improve patient experience.
  • Manage materials, software implementations, regulatory compliance, and equipment maintenance.
  • Be available after hours for emergent operational issues.
  • Support the strategic direction of Ambulatory Operations and operationalize new programs.
  • Partner with physicians and administrative leadership to remove barriers to success.
  • Provide strong, effective, goal-oriented leadership to direct and indirect reports.
  • Establish and meet goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for operational areas.
  • Develop and maintain standardized work procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Coach, develop, educate, and mentor direct reports while fostering trust.
  • Implement leadership tools such as leader rounding on patients and employees.
  • Create quarterly goal action plans focused on meeting organizational goals.
  • Perform data reporting and analysis to drive decision-making.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain affiliations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare leadership at manager level or above.
  • Skill in exercising leadership, initiative, judgment, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving outcomes through sustainable tactics.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records to monitor key practice statistics.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
