About the position

The Director of Asian Marketing plays a pivotal role in the marketing department, specifically focusing on the Table Games customer segment. This position is under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Asian Marketing and is responsible for the successful execution of various marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving revenue growth. The incumbent will be tasked with achieving established annual goals related to total theoretical revenue and profit, actual revenue and profit, as well as quotas for new and reactivated players. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to analyze marketing programs and event proformas to ensure that objectives are met effectively. In addition to revenue goals, the Director will oversee a team of marketing professionals, ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are adhered to while managing scheduling and employee performance. A strong understanding of Asian culture and languages is essential, as the Director will be required to coordinate and cooperate in organizing Asian events that resonate with the target audience. Proficiency in both Chinese Mandarin and English is mandatory, with additional languages such as Vietnamese and Korean being advantageous. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with staff and patrons alike. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining and managing databases related to marketing efforts, ensuring that data is accurate and utilized effectively to inform marketing strategies. Familiarity with department-specific computer programs is required, and the ability to work flexible hours is necessary due to the dynamic nature of the business. Frequent travel may also be required based on business needs, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Implement marketing efforts associated with the Table Games customer segment.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of marketing and gaming management experience in the casino industry.
  • Experience managing large numbers of employees.
  • Ability to read and write short memos.
  • Familiarity with Asian culture and language.
  • Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English, with additional Asian languages such as Vietnamese and Korean being a plus.
  • Proven ability in database maintenance and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and patrons.
  • Proficiency with department-specific computer programs.
