About the position

The Director, Asset Innovation Evaluation is responsible for developing commercial opportunity assessments that guide investment decisions in both internal and external asset-level innovations. This role collaborates with various teams, including Global Commercial Development, R&D, and Global Business Development, to optimize CSL Behring's portfolio and ensure alignment with broader therapeutic area strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial opportunity assessments to inform investment decisions in asset-level innovations.
• Collaborate with Global Commercial Development Therapy Area Teams, R&D, and Global Insights to optimize the CSL Behring portfolio.
• Deliver commercial insights for investment in external assets in novel therapy areas.
• Provide a commercial perspective on existing research and early-stage pipeline programs.
• Streamline interfaces between core functions to ensure consistent opportunity assessments across established therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or healthcare discipline; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial functions.
• 6-8 years of commercial marketing experience, including pre-launch and launch.
• Experience working closely with scientific stakeholders.
• Strong leadership presence and presentation skills.
• Experience in research/early-stage pipeline asset assessments preferred.
