About the position

The Director of B2B ABM Marketing at Dow Jones is responsible for driving marketing strategies specifically for the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves developing and executing annual plans to enhance brand awareness, establish Dow Jones as a trusted partner, and deepen relationships with key decision-makers in targeted accounts. The position requires collaboration with sales and product teams to drive revenue growth and implement account-based marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas industry and accounts, market trends, customer needs, and competition.
  • Craft an annual strategy and plan to build awareness and a reputation for Dow Jones' capabilities and expertise.
  • Run the 'One-to-Few' ABM program for key Oil & Gas accounts, ensuring marketing strategies drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with product and GTM strategy teams to develop effective messaging and content.
  • Build client trust and loyalty through customer advocacy and compelling storytelling.
  • Develop co-marketing strategies with select partners to enhance reach in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Co-create the global plan and strategy for the Oil & Gas industry with Geography Marketing Leaders.
  • Work with Digital Marketing and Event Marketers to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs, particularly account revenue growth and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Engage sellers around Oil & Gas initiatives and equip them for effective customer meetings.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally in Field Marketing, Industry Marketing, or Account-based Marketing.
  • Experience marketing Risk & Compliance or Data/Business Intelligence solutions to Fortune 1000 Oil and Gas companies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing measurable B2B industry marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • 'One-to-Few' Account Based Marketing experience driving awareness and partnering with sales to drive revenue growth.
  • Proven experience working with multiple business stakeholders and driving consensus around client-centric strategies.
  • Experience in effectively managing marketing budget and ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Adept at data-driven decision making and business management.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.
