In this role, you will be at the intersection of content, technology, and marketing, thriving in a data-driven partner marketing environment. As the Director of B2B Marketing and Partnerships, you will play a key role in driving the content, digital experience, marketing, and partnership initiatives of a rapidly growing B2B travel company. You will lead a multicultural, fast-paced, and dynamic team where new insights and out-of-the-box thinking are welcomed and encouraged. The position offers a base salary of $110,000 - $120,000, along with a Travelopia Management Bonus Scheme of 10-20% outside of the base salary. Your responsibilities will include leading our digital and offline marketing channels, defining the content strategy, and supervising the production of all marketing materials in line with brand guidelines. You will allocate budgets across channels to achieve commercial objectives, maintain an external perspective on competition, and develop and drive the partnership marketing strategy. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to ensure effective marketing initiatives and to enhance the customer journey using data and insights. You will also represent marketing in key collaborator forums, ensuring alignment with other teams on upcoming plans and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital and offline marketing channels including website, newsletters, social media, public relations, and brochures.
  • Define the content strategy, content calendar, and topics for marketing content on owned channels.
  • Supervise production of all marketing materials on time and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Allocate budget across channels and activities to achieve commercial objectives and supervise results.
  • Maintain awareness of competition and advise on trade marketing activities.
  • Develop and drive the partnership marketing strategy and implementation.
  • Collaborate with teams to negotiate partner projects focusing on competitive edge and financial gain.
  • Partner with reservations, business development, and operations teams to enhance CRM system usage for sales and marketing efficiency.
  • Engage sales, product, and technology teams to develop a groundbreaking digital platform for travel advisors.
  • Represent marketing in key collaborator forums and ensure communication of marketing plans and activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in leading B2B marketing teams.
  • Experience in working for B2B travel brands in the US market is preferred.
  • Required experience in leading websites and metrics around engagement, user experience, and A/B testing.
  • Experience in leading the development of various digital products on websites/apps for travel advisors.
  • Experience supervising CRM systems (preferably Hubspot) and developing customer lifecycle communications using data and insights.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written, visual, and editorial skills, along with excellent communication skills.
  • A high bias for action and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to judge what appeals to the audience from both content and design perspectives.
  • Ability to deep dive into and leverage analytics to refine and improve strategy.
