About the position

The Director of B2B Marketing for the Manufacturing Industry at Dow Jones is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives targeted at key accounts within the manufacturing sector. This role involves developing and executing an annual marketing plan that positions Dow Jones as a trusted partner for enterprise business insights, while collaborating closely with sales and product teams to enhance client relationships and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry and accounts, market trends, customer needs, and competition.
  • Craft an annual strategy and plan to build awareness and a reputation for Dow Jones' capabilities and expertise; deepen relationships with key decision makers.
  • Run the 'One-to-Few' Account Based Marketing program for key Manufacturing accounts, ensuring the marketing strategy drives revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Proposition teams to develop messaging and content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Build client trust and loyalty through customer advocacy and compelling storytelling promoted through industry programs.
  • Develop co-marketing strategies with select partners to enhance reach and growth in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Co-create the global plan and strategy for the Manufacturing industry with Geography Marketing Leaders, gaining local insights and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Orchestrate strategy with Digital Marketing and Event Marketers to drive awareness and engagement across the Manufacturing industry.
  • Monitor and report on progress on key KPIs, particularly account revenue growth and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Engage sellers around Manufacturing industry initiatives, developing their skills for effective customer meetings.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally in Field Marketing, Industry Marketing, and/or Account Based Marketing targeting Fortune 1000 Manufacturing companies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing measurable B2B industry marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in 'One-to-Few' Account Based Marketing driving awareness and partnering with sales to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience marketing Risk & Compliance Data and/or Business Intelligence solutions to Fortune 1000 non-financial companies is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with multiple business stakeholders and driving consensus around client-centric strategies.
  • Experience in effectively managing marketing budget and time, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Adept at data-driven decision making and business management.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
