About the position

As the Director of BAS Project Management and Field Operations at Entec Services, Inc., you will lead and support the Project Management and System Specialist teams, overseeing a diverse portfolio of building automation projects. Your role will involve ensuring exceptional team performance and client satisfaction while driving operational excellence through strategic implementation and resource management. This position requires deep expertise in building automation systems and strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Project Managers and System Specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and optimize project outcomes.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of building automation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement training and development programs for improvement.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Provide leadership to the field technician team for high-quality installation and maintenance of building automation systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction with services.
• Manage resource allocation and project assignments to optimize team performance.
• Oversee budgeting and cost management for project and service operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between field operations and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management or field operations within the building automation or related industry.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and delivering successful projects.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
