About the position

The Art Director for Jordan Brand at NIKE, Inc. is responsible for leading creative initiatives and delivering innovative art direction that enhances the brand's consumer experience. This role combines leadership, creativity, and collaboration to drive design excellence across various projects, ensuring alignment with the Jordan Brand ethos and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of projects, working closely with Producers, Designers, and Writers to deliver innovative creative vision.
• Drive design excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain and foster relationships with external partners such as design agencies, photographers, and producers.
• Creatively direct and lead work with external partners to ensure alignment with project expectations and Jordan Brand standards.
• Take the lead on seasonal initiative concepting and successfully manage relationships with external partners.
• Work with Brand Marketing and 365 Studio to understand product benefits and provide creative direction to bring those benefits to life for consumers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Graphic Design or Art Direction experience.
• Ability to build seasonal concepts and provide both short and long term vision.
• Understanding of the Brand Creative/Marketing process.
• Experience working and communicating directly with Brand Marketing partners.
• Familiarity with Adobe programs including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience building inspiration/concept presentations and mood boards for seasonal concepts and direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
