About the position

The Director, Brand & Creative at Comcast Spectacor is responsible for shaping and elevating the brands associated with the Philadelphia Flyers, Wells Fargo Center, and other properties under the Comcast Spectacor portfolio. This role involves leading a graphic design team, managing creative strategies, and ensuring the execution of high-quality design projects that align with the company's branding vision. The position requires collaboration across multiple departments to foster a positive and innovative work environment, while also overseeing the internal print production office and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the SVP, Marketing and VP, Brand & Content to build out the creative vision in alignment with the Comcast Spectacor brands.
  • Oversee and directionally guide the graphic design team, ensuring consistency and alignment to overall creative strategy.
  • Lead design projects from ideation to execution, ensuring project delivery dates and expectations are met within pre-established budgets.
  • Negotiate for resource priority with senior management and partners that affect function's performance.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to delegate ideation and creation while fostering a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment for the Brand & Design team.
  • Manage department or function budget.
  • Design identity/logo for external marketing, internal and corporate partner events and programs.
  • Prepare final layout for print and oversee the production process.
  • Proof all materials and deliver high-quality, on-time, error-free drafts.
  • Accept and deliver executive feedback in creative direction.
  • Oversee the internal print production office.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred) or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in brand design and creative direction.
  • Strong skills in brand design, creative strategies, and ideation.
