About the position

We are seeking a strategic financial leader to provide direction that will enhance the growth, profitability, and value of our brand portfolio. This role involves offering authoritative financial leadership and strategic counsel, ensuring alignment of financial objectives with the strategic imperatives of the brand and corporate goals. The successful candidate will conduct rigorous monitoring of key performance indicators for each brand, critically assessing financial outcomes and formulating strategic recommendations to refine performance. In addition, the role requires proactive identification and capitalization on opportunities to augment brand profitability through meticulous cost management, astute pricing strategies, and strategic resource allocation. The financial leader will engage in partnership with the leadership of the Americas and interdisciplinary teams to furnish insightful financial analyses and recommendations that underpin business decision-making and strategic endeavors. The position also entails methodically evaluating the efficacy of marketing expenditures, analyzing return on investment for marketing initiatives, and advising on the optimization of marketing budgets to bolster brand influence and profitability. The financial leader will prepare and deliver sophisticated financial reports and presentations to senior management, accentuating salient findings and strategic counsel for enhancing brand performance. Risk management is another critical aspect of this role, as the leader will identify and evaluate financial risks linked to brand initiatives, devising robust strategies to mitigate potential threats. Additionally, the role includes executing specialized ad hoc financial analyses and modeling to support informed business decisions and strategic initiatives, while maintaining an informed perspective on industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to furnish actionable insights that inform brand strategy formulation. Finally, the leader will be responsible for leading and developing a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and preeminence in financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP financial planning software preferred.
  • Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing large teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think strategically and lead business planning.
