About the position

The Director of Brand & Integrated Marketing at Trex is responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive brand marketing strategy aimed at establishing and enhancing the company's brand leadership in the industry. This role involves setting strategic direction for marketing initiatives, including advertising, content, and communications, with a focus on brand positioning and overall market presence to drive company growth. The Director will collaborate with various teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to analyze the consumer purchase process and develop strategies that optimize the consumer journey.
  • Collaborate with teams to gain insights into consumer and trade needs, translating these into actionable brand marketing strategies.
  • Foster relationships with external agency partners to refine the Trex brand positioning based on consumer and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and implement a holistic brand marketing strategy that engages both consumer and trade audiences, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Recommend and manage marketing budgets to achieve long-term business objectives, monitoring progress against key brand metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Operations teams to execute integrated marketing programs.
  • Oversee daily relationships with key agency partners, providing direction and feedback to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing programs that effectively communicate the Trex brand message and drive engagement.
  • Establish and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing initiatives to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred.
  • 10-12 years' experience in marketing, preferably with a building products company.
  • 8+ years' experience in a marketing leadership role required.
  • Strong national consumer brand background required, international preferred.
