About the position

The Director, Brand Marketing at Nestlé Health Science will shape the brand strategy for Nuun, a key product in the company's portfolio. This transformative role is responsible for defining Nuun's future, connecting with new audiences, and driving brand awareness through innovative marketing strategies. The position involves overseeing the brand's P&L, developing strategic marketing plans, and leading the Experiential marketing team to enhance community engagement. Ideal candidates will be passionate, creative, and strategic leaders with a proven track record in brand building and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for the Nuun business across channels.
  • Devise segmented marketing plans, including product mix, pricing, and channels of distribution.
  • Provide leadership and direction in the implementation of marketing strategies to achieve objectives for revenues, share, and margins.
  • Identify and collaborate on new product and business development opportunities to help fill strategic gaps in the portfolio and growth plans.
  • Direct the collection of market and competitive data and consumer/category insights, working closely with consumer insights and analytics teams.
  • Drive the in-person activation strategy across target communities for the Nuun & Specialty businesses.
  • Reimage and scale the experiential marketing approach across the broader organizational portfolio.
  • Own the P&L for ICP and develop 3-Year Multi-year annual plans.
  • Drive marketing team understanding of business consumption and shipment trends through the Monthly business planning process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on monthly forecasts and review monthly KPIs.
  • Utilize marketing mix/ROI assessment tools to improve marketing spend efficiencies.
  • Drive partnerships with Commercial excellence teams and agency partners to ensure delivery against strategy and objectives.
  • Provide proactive business tracking updates to internal senior leadership and global competitive intelligence teams.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget development and execution of all innovation and renovation plans for the brand.
  • Motivate and inspire direct reports and cross-functional teams to exceed performance targets.
  • Communicate expectations and provide regular feedback through a robust performance management process.
  • Build development plans and coach team members to achieve objectives.
  • Participate in talent recruitment and selection to promote workforce diversity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline required.
  • MBA/Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years leading Marketing/Brand Experience.
  • Experience in top line and bottom line management.
  • Extensive experience in Brand Vision, Brand Planning, Go-To-Market Plans, and Innovation Roadmap.
  • Robust senior leadership experience in a fast-paced consumer product company.
