About the position

The Director-Brand Marketing for Robern is a pivotal role responsible for the comprehensive development and execution of the Robern brand strategy and marketing communications across all customer touchpoints. This position requires a visionary leader who can define and implement a strategic approach to enhance the overall brand experience through various channels, including brand management, creative content development, competitive analysis, public relations, events, and both traditional and digital advertising. The Director will also oversee the digital experience, particularly in e-commerce, ensuring that the brand maintains a strong presence in the luxury beauty and self-care market. The successful candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, particularly in team development. They must have excellent interpersonal skills to foster unified strategies and collaborate effectively across functions to achieve significant results. A data-driven decision-maker, the Director will be responsible for defining success metrics and building strategies to meet the goals of this new initiative. A passion for luxury brands, beauty, and self-care is essential, along with a proactive approach to adapting strategies in response to market dynamics. Key responsibilities include creating and executing effective marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation and conversion, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, and optimizing marketing channels to enhance sales productivity. The Director will also be tasked with managing the e-commerce strategy, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. Additionally, the role involves managing relationships with external marketing and creative agencies to align strategies with business objectives, as well as overseeing the annual budgeting process to optimize marketing expenditures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Robern brand strategy and marketing communications across all customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the creation of a 5-year strategy for the brand to ensure long-term authority in the beauty and self-care category.
  • Understand the needs of existing and target customers, including end-use consumers and interior designers, to drive purchase behavior.
  • Create and execute effective marketing campaigns to generate leads and optimize existing campaigns for better engagement.
  • Utilize lead-sourcing tools to identify and prioritize potential customers and maximize lead generation efforts.
  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals, managing online sales channels and analyzing data for growth opportunities.
  • Create and implement Go-To-Market plans for key product launches, ensuring alignment across all channels.
  • Direct all marketing communications functions, including advertising, content development, public relations, and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Manage outside marketing and creative agency relationships to build full funnel strategies that meet brand and business KPIs.
  • Establish analytical processes to create a data-driven strategy for digital testing across various marketing channels.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and monitor expenditures to stay within plan parameters.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and customer insights within the luxury category.
  • Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment, developing the talent of the marketing team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in merchandising and marketing, including a minimum of three years leading teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable results.
  • Strong track record in driving brand creative and content creation.
  • Passionate about luxury, beauty, and self-care with deep expertise in the field.
  • Ability to apply business strategy to improve overall business results.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to leverage cross-functional partnerships.
