About the position
As the Director of Business Applications at Sierra Space, you will oversee and manage the service levels of core applications, enterprise devices, and service desk/incident management functions. This role includes managing IT Operations, which encompasses data centers, infrastructure, and networks for the enterprise. You will lead the End User Services and IT Operations group, collaborating with business units, IT leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and the Enterprise PMO to foster a culture of quality and ensure that service levels for user support and IT Operations are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage service levels of core applications and enterprise devices.
- Manage service desk and incident management functions.
- Lead IT Operations including data centers, infrastructure, and networks.
- Manage the End User Services and IT Operations group.
- Collaborate with business units and IT leadership to align IT services with business needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve user support and IT Operations service levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing IT operations and business applications.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud technologies and IT service management frameworks.
