About the position

The Director of Business Development at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System is responsible for overseeing the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department. This role aims to enhance the organization's continuum of care through effective marketing strategies and collaboration with various internal departments. The Director will also engage in strategic planning and growth opportunities while managing the facility's marketing plan and brand image.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department.
• Achieve desired utilization of the organization's continuum of care through effective marketing principles.
• Participate in facility management discussions related to strategic planning and growth opportunities.
• Manage the facility's strategic marketing plan and enhance the brand/image.
• Maintain productive relationships with internal departments and communicate proactively with the CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in organizational communications, referral development, and sales management.
• Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of the behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, and target markets.
