About the position

The Director of Business Intelligence Delivery at BLEND360 is responsible for overseeing the execution of client-facing projects within the Business Intelligence practice. This role requires strong client management skills and prior consulting experience, as it involves leading cross-functional teams of data analysts and engineers to drive enterprise analytics initiatives. The director will champion the application of reporting and analysis tools to develop replicable reports and datasets, ensuring performance and financial metrics are met. The position demands flexibility in hours to accommodate client needs and a breadth of knowledge across BI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Business Intelligence (BI) proposals, projects, and initiatives by partnering with senior-level client partners.
• Define BI solutions that fit client needs and apply BI best practices to design technical solutions.
• Act as the BI tools subject matter expert, particularly in the Microsoft Power Platform area.
• Manage a team to design and develop optimal BI reporting and data analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with database architects, data scientists, and developers for development and production support work.
• Mentor junior resources and take ownership of the team's deliverables, including reporting, analytics, automation, and process improvement.
• Manage team utilization, project budget, and develop plans to accomplish tasks.
• Coordinate information distribution to team members and stakeholders, pushing for excellence and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a closely related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data warehousing.
• 7 years of hands-on experience with big data analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
• Knowledge of MS Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure is highly desirable.
• 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and enhancing BI reporting and data analytics solutions.
• 7 years of BI project management experience delivering on multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
• 5 years of experience with data technologies like AWS S3, Cloudera Hadoop, Informatica, etc.
• 3 years of experience with cloud or on-premises databases such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL.
