About the position

The Director of Business Operations at Cooper University Health Care is responsible for optimizing and growing the Institute by collaborating with various stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and community organizations. This role focuses on operational excellence, performance monitoring, and the execution of strategic plans to enhance healthcare delivery and patient access.

Responsibilities

  • Manage provider schedules to maximize utilization of office space and provider schedules.
  • Optimize procedural scheduling across all procedural locations.
  • Liaise with Ambulatory Operations and Patient Access Center regarding provider and patient issues.
  • Collaborate with Physician and APP leadership to implement new program activities and optimize provider schedules.
  • Oversee the strategic recruitment of providers, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Compile analyses and prepare presentations for corporate and board-level leadership.
  • Create and maintain provider template standards and protocols for the Patient Access Center.
  • Monitor PSAs, contracts, and agreements with outside agencies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience leading, optimizing, and growing complex healthcare teams or related work.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Business, healthcare administration, or operations management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including diplomacy and the ability to work with diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and utilize effective time management skills.
