About the position

Sabre Corporation is seeking a Director of Business Operations Program Management to lead strategic operations and programs across global cross-functional teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the acceleration of the company's strategic priorities by driving operational excellence. The position is based at Sabre's global headquarters in Southlake, Texas, and offers a hybrid remote work schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the Product Development workforce planning roadmap, optimizing and scaling a global team, and creating both short and long-term strategic plans. In this role, the Director will collaborate with Hospitality Product Development leaders, business stakeholders, the People Team, and Finance to assess existing workforce needs and strategize for future alignment with business objectives and financial goals. The Director will oversee workforce planning initiatives, including headcount metrics analysis, forecasting, and the rollout of plans, processes, and controls. Additionally, the role involves managing third-party partner relationships to ensure business outcomes are achieved, driving performance metrics, and supporting complex strategic programs by managing planning, timing, and reporting to ensure program commitments are met. The Director will coordinate efforts across matrix-managed teams to define and maintain program goals and schedules, manage ongoing work through a strategic framework, and leverage program management tools to drive deliverables. The position also requires facilitating program-level issues and change management resolution, overseeing operational efficiency improvement initiatives, and conducting root cause analysis to solve complex operating model challenges. The successful candidate will develop metrics-driven reporting to represent program status, risks, dependencies, and actions, ensuring that all initiatives align with the company's operational standards and direction.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of the Product Development workforce planning roadmap.
  • Collaborate with HS PD leaders and Hospitality Business stakeholders, People Team, and Finance to review existing workforce needs.
  • Oversee workforce planning initiatives including headcount metrics analysis, forecasting, plan roll-out, processes and controls.
  • Oversee 3rd party partner management to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
  • Drive performance metrics and key performance indicators to derive value and results.
  • Support complex, strategic programs by driving planning, timing and reporting to ensure delivery of program commitment.
  • Coordinate and align efforts across matrix-managed teams to define and maintain program goals and schedules.
  • Manage ongoing work through a strategic framework, leveraging program management tools and reporting to drive program deliverables.
  • Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by an operating model.
  • Facilitate program-level issues and change management resolution.
  • Oversee large operational efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage technical expertise and relationships with SMEs to conduct root cause analysis and solution complex operating model challenges.
  • Develop and produce metrics-driven reporting to represent program status, risks, dependencies and actions.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience leading and managing multiple complex programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or relevant work experience, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving large programs and meeting critical milestones and timelines.
  • Previous success with driving operational excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience and understanding of how to work with global teams.
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and connect with key decision makers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization.
  • Strong influential skills while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive and implement change.
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills delivering complex solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.
