About the position

The Director of Business Operations at Madhive is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing and optimizing key operational functions within the company. This position plays a critical role in managing procurement, real estate, office management, and ensuring strategic alignment across the organization. The successful candidate will drive the execution of company-wide initiatives, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and all-hands meetings, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business growth and align with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the procurement process to ensure cost-efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage all aspects of real estate and facilities for the company's office locations.
  • Lead efforts to secure, develop, and optimize office space to align with company needs.
  • Ensure alignment of company initiatives with overall business strategy, working closely with the C-Suite.
  • Identify and analyze key operational metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to provide insights into business performance.
  • Plan and execute company-wide meetings and all hands to communicate key business updates.
  • Manage the logistics of keeping the office in order and stocked with supplies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to drive operational excellence.
  • Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, finance, procurement, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience leading procurement, process improvement, and real estate management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading QBRs and company meetings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
