The Director, Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the Fund & Asset Managers Group at Fitch Ratings is a pivotal role that focuses on business development and relationship management within the financial services sector. The primary objective is to enhance Fitch's Fund Finance practice and broader Fund Ratings platform. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at both new and existing relationships. This includes driving new business through the origination of new rating mandates from various stakeholders, including sponsors, bankers, and non-bank lenders. The role also involves ensuring proper follow-through with prospective clients, preparing pitches and marketing materials, negotiating contract renewals, and supporting the FAM Global Business Head on various tactical and strategic projects. Collaboration with the analytical team is essential to prioritize a large pipeline of new mandates and support effective revenue management. The Director will also liaise with BRM colleagues in New York and London to coordinate market interactions and ensure efficient pipeline management, all while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements. This client-facing role requires frequent participation in industry events and interactions with investors, bankers, sponsors, and other market participants. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in finance, particularly within funds and structured finance transactions, and will have a proven track record in new business development and relationship management.
