About the position

As a Director in Business Transformation at CrossCountry Consulting, you will be a key member of the leadership team, focusing on building the firm's presence in the Boston market. This role involves guiding clients through complex finance strategies, operating model designs, and finance and accounting operations. You will leverage your expertise to align performance improvement and technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality consulting services by taking personal ownership for client engagements and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Lead large-scale multi-year Finance Transformation programs and supervise execution teams, managing client needs for operational and change initiatives.
  • Identify and apply automation while fostering cross-departmental collaboration in large-scale programs.
  • Conduct finance and accounting current-state assessments, including finance strategy and core end-to-end processes.
  • Develop and implement Finance operating models that align with business objectives and drive efficiency.
  • Manage projects across the project lifecycle, including current state evaluation, gap analysis, and implementation.
  • Oversee client accounts, projects, and engagements, maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel.
  • Provide coaching and training opportunities for team members, leveraging individual skills and the firm's culture.
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities and market services to prospective clients.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of applicable consulting, CFO Advisory, Finance Transformation, or relevant industry experience.
  • Prior experience in professional services, preferably at a large, global accounting firm or management consulting firm.
  • Minimum ten years of advanced program or project management skills with experience in organizing and executing large-scale projects.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally.
  • Proven leadership ability to foster collaboration and excellence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or post-graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical disciplines.
  • Lean or Six-Sigma training or methodology experience.
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) experience.
