About the position

The Director of Cash Vault Services is responsible for leading and managing cash vault services and products across CVS Operations in the US. This role involves collaborating with senior management to enhance profitability and customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate operational controls and procedures to maximize departmental production and minimize staff errors.
• Negotiate pricing to optimize profitability of service or product solutions.
• Respond to requests for proposals, assessing customer needs and recommending effective strategies.
• Enhance customer retention efforts by delivering superior customer service.
• Generate supplementary revenue from the sale of cash vault products and services.
• Develop, revise, and maintain policies and procedures of cash application to meet changing business requirements.
• Ensure that the cash applications team adheres to internal controls.
• Perform risk and cost benefit analyses.
• Oversee and assist in daily and monthly cash reconciliation processes.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the cash vault services group.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Ability to establish best practices and communicate processes effectively.
• Strong people management skills and ability to interact well with others.
• Patience to investigate and resolve accounting errors or problems.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, Money Manager, and other proprietary software systems.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college, or equivalent education and experience.
